We are seeking a qualified 3nd Engineer for a Container ship. The candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the main engine and auxiliary machinery, maintenance of all engine room systems, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
Proven experience on ME (MAN B&W) engines or equivalent medium-speed two-stroke main engines
Experience in a Container ship or similar vessel is preferred
Familiar with engine room operations, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
Competent in IMO regulations, safety standards, and port/state control procedures
Able to work with a mixed international crew
