We are looking for an experienced Able Seaman (AB) who is also a licensed Excavator Operator to join our self-discharging bulk carrier fleet operating exclusively in Greek waters.
The position requires hands-on experience with both deck operations and onboard cargo handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate onboard excavator and cargo gear for loading/discharging of bulk or cement cargo.
Carry out general deck duties, including mooring, maintenance, and watchkeeping.
Maintain and inspect the excavator and discharge equipment regularly.
Ensure all operations are conducted safely and efficiently in compliance with company procedures and maritime regulations.
Report to the Bosun and Chief Officer for all deck and cargo handling operations.
Requirements
Valid STCW Certificates and Seaman’s Book.
Valid Excavator Operator License (mandatory).
Previous experience as AB/Excavator Operator on self-discharging bulk or cement carriers.
