Job Description:
As a Hotel Manager Assistant on our OSV, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Hotel Manager in overseeing the hotel operations onboard. This role is both challenging and rewarding, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while experiencing life at sea.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Hotel Manager in the day-to-day operations of the hotel.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of the hotel staff.
- Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction through excellent service.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly.
- Assist in managing budgets, controlling expenses, and ensuring profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation policies.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in staff training and development.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in hotel management or a similar role (reception supervisor, etc. ).
- Maritime (STCW) certificates are required.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and solve problems efficiently.
- Knowledge of the marine industry is a plus.
- Willingness to work onboard for extended periods.
