Job Title: Bunker Surveyor
Location: Malta (Relocation Required)

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Bunker Surveyor to join our team in Malta. As a Marine Cargo & Bunker Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in performing inspection surveys at oil terminals, vessels in port, and anchorages, ensuring compliance with clients' requirements. This position requires a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in bunker quantity surveying.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Understand and execute clear and specific instructions from the Senior Operations Executive in accordance with client requirements.
- Conduct bunker quantity surveys, including measurements, sampling, tank inspection, cargo quantity calculation, and event monitoring throughout the operation, following documented Management System and HSE requirements.
- Provide timely reporting updates and field reports to the Senior Operations Executive, head office, and clients.
- Perform inspections to determine cargo condition and survey damaged cargo.
- Investigate accidents involving cargo.
- Prepare detailed and accurate report documentation.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Location: Malta, with relocation required.
- Diploma related to the Marine Industry is required.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Bunker quantity surveying.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English.
- Willingness to work irregular hours, with rest periods provided.

SALARY & CONDITIONS:

- First 6 months: €2,500 gross per month
- After 6 months: €36,000 gross per year
- Bonus/Special allowances (additional to above): €2,500 to €3,000 gross per year, depending on performance and the quantity of surveys conducted.
- Malta Tax, national insurance, government bonus & wage increase, leave, sick leave, as per Malta Law.
- Probation period: 6 months
- Contract: 5 years, with the possibility of extension.
